I've played through the campaign a few times and every time I do it it succeeds

Just a circle saying connecting, never ending. I have the Civil War version and the European version both work. This has been happening for about 2 weeks; worked fine before that. Any help appreciated.

My Japanese army is in full supply, with 3 action points, and is unable to march north from hill 188,58 to hill 188,57 which is in enemy ZOC. The total cost should be 1 + 1 for hill + 1 for enemy ZOC. I think the hex is being treated as a mountain hex or the river in the north is affecting the southern entrance to the hex. When I attempt to force march the army, the path it wants to follow is backwards towards Chengchow and then forwards, for a total of 4 action points....
