Lead Writer Emily Grace Buck posting racist tweets on Twitter... is she still on the game?

Her account is shut down now, but I wanted to know if she was still working on the game or not, what her current impact is on development, and how much of her attitudes are in the game. I also would like to know if there's anyone doing checks on her submitted work to make sure the racism isn't present - as she may not be the best judge of her own attitudes.

I don't want to post what she wrote here, but I'd like a response from the developer on what you feel about her post and what's being done about it.

If she is still working on this game, does she have much left to do or is she already gone? I already was not a fan of the writing, but her attitudes are extremely offensive.

Edit: She posted a 2 page apology for the racism and abuse, but then deleted her account again when other users replied that it would be better if she left and reflected on what she had said (which I agree with). My concern is her impact on this title.

So it ended up being worse than this, unfortunately - she posted that she'd not only abused an ex of hers and then when called out for being abusive in the industry, she had to apologize to another fellow developer she'd abused/threatened/gaslit (according to the original dev she said Emily had done all three of these things, which I'd normally need verification on, but then Emily verified it on Twitter so it sounds like it's true).

Still waiting for a response from this developer on her actions and the status of her content - and if anyone is double-checking the content accordingly.

It's probably too late in the development process to remove her content from the game, she's the lead writer so removing and replacing all her work would surely be a huge undertaking especially so close to the Spring launch (assuming they're still on schedule).

I think Gato Studio should, at least, publicly announce that they do not condone Emily's actions. It's too late to remove her content, but the least they can do is acknowledge that.

That's more than fair. She did admit to the racism and abuse, but the studio should also make their position and her role at the company clear - I don't want to support any game that employs a racist and abusive developer.

Remove works of people for thoses kind of reason is really stupid to me.
What is the next step ? Being a sjw to work on games ? They shouldnt wasting any time to communicate about thoses stupid drama and work on the game

I'm not a fan of removing credit or removing work but it depends on the studio and what their practices are - which is why I'm asking the studio for a statement.

I mostly want a response from the studio about their handling of this - and also, what they're doing to repair the work, right now, the writing in the game is pretty shoddy right now, so it might be an improvement if they repair it or give it to someone else if it's problematic.
