Expanding Divine Realm: Please Help!

I need more details on how to expand my divine realm, because I'm about 270 divine residents over the controllable population limit. According to the Attainment tribulation, I can build a new realm after reaching Attainment level, but according to the LAW tier list, this is unlocked at Demigod level.

The cultivation needed for me to advance up the ranks of Shendao is in the literal 10's of MILLIONS. I don't know if this is because I'm using a modded character or not?

As for my current divine realm, it only had 1 square for a building space, and it only let me build a living area for my divine residence. Which is about level 3 or 4 as of the time of writing this.

I don't know how to acquire Core Residents, or add my building areas to the realm so that I can start making things easier to manage.

Yea... you probably want to do 48 divine realm breakthroughs next time. The number of realms really limit your shendao character. Otherwise you have to gain realms via those tribulations. Since those realms are needed to build various other buildings. Like building to provide miracles, buildings to house more residents, building to increase various artifact stats, etc.

For the 48 realm breakthrough, you need 1k resident, 300 mental, 50 divinity, probably 4-6 days of Mind fasting before the breakthrough in order to lower distress to 1 (and keep it lowered during all of the breakthrough due to the mind fasting buff).

The breakthrough room needs to be large, luxurious, magnificent with very auspicious fengshui.

Doing this 48 realm breakthrough is akin to forming grade 1 golden core. You dont have to do it, but it will limit your character.
