Preferred Cultivation Method?

Which cultivation method do you prefer to use, and what are some of the benefits and drawbacks of them?

Looking at videos of the character creation process, I'm currently lead to believe Physical cultivation is only possible for Yaoguai. But as I don't have the game yet, I can't be certain.

Well I can expect to sit 5 hours in the next character creation to get this with my luck XD.

Sunflower Refining is one of the better ones to start with since it dramatically increases adventure speed. Anything that helps with adventure speed is useful throughout since you will be doing a bunch of adventures to various places for exp and loot.

Utility wise, the secret talisman one is the most interesting imo. You unlock some very powerful talisman.

Physical and Shendao are hard to get running from the start. Physical will require the character to consume a bunch of items, along with figuring out the when and where to cultivate for those essences (or w/e the translation is).

Shendao on the other hand might look like you need a bunch of cities and followers. But the hard part is the mood breakthroughs. Along with having the correct setup for max 48 domain Divine Realm. That is akin to having the correct stuff for grade 1 golden core breakthrough.

I have been told you can create custom Reincarnators in the Realms Palace option. During character creation, use the same Name, Race and Gender option as the custom character you made, and the game will use them as a template, instead of a randomly generated one.

Sadly, I have not found a single video, or even so much as a screenshot of anybody trying out Realms Palace mode, so I can neither confirm, nor deny if this is true.

There isn't one yet, especially since out of the 19 predefined ones, all other laws are randomly generated.


Also for the rest of you for reference. You can get body cultivation really early on if an Inscription of a Yaoguai happens and you have an Inner adventure there, it'll give you the beginner Body cultivation law. You get the beginner Shendao law by upgrading your My South agency Main Hall to level 2.

This is all true. People regularly upload the reincarnators they make to the workshop too.

To answer your original question. I like Body Cultivation more then Shendao or Xiandao, as it lets you add traits to your muscles, bones, blood and organs (including your phallus hilariously enough). This let's you create the strongest fighters in the game but the overall Gacha-like system of getting traits I find really cool the most, alongside it's Set Bonus system for Secret Body arts.

Took my a few minutes to get a godly talent guy that had 147% compatibility with it and great qi sense, so it's luck.

its very true, and incredably easy takes like 20 seconds if you know what your doing and it could be hours of fun if you dont.

How can Physical cultivators rebirth? They can't eat the pill apparently...
I did see they can destroy bodyparts, I'm guessing in order to remold them, but I don't know where to cultivate at for the essence to do it.

But changing the law...? I'm assuming there are more than the one physical law

And also, is a physical cultivator stuck with the stats he had when promoting?

Physical Cultivators can devour pretty much any item in the game. The type of essence they receive from it depends on the item you consume.

Physical Cultivators reject the use of normal Qi, Artifacts and Weapons, in favor of relying exclusively on their physical body to achieve immortality.

Cultivation is done by using your collected essence to Remold your body parts. Which also has a drain on your stamina every time you do it. I've seen people complain that it's hard to keep Physical Cultivators well fed, because their voracious appetites keep burning through all the food supplies.

Each body part can only have a limited number of enhancements on it. And in order to unlock secret bodies, you need to take very specific enhancements. So be careful what you try to Remold!

Thanks, I already figured out most of the basics of physical cultivation, it's just the details I'm unsure of...
