Game is still under development despite what you may have heard.
Don't be misleading. The studio is shut down at the end of the month, and T2 is looking to sell everything off, so far unsuccessfully.
Game is, at this moment, dead.
The truth is nobody knows whats going on, but its not looking good, at all.
As of right now, this game can safely be called a scam until they prove that there is still intention to try finishing the game.
My guess is once the dev team is out of the door then they will come with some kind of statement example on 1st of july about what is happening and what will happen in the future. So wait a few weeks before you buy is my advice.
If they officialy say ksp2 development is dead, then get ksp1 instead and find allot of mods for it then that is also a nice game with tons of possibilitys with mods.
For a changenumber to change on an app that hasn't been active in months, it's more likely a useless change rather than a sign of life." source: https://steamdb.info/faq/
Yours truly, Nate.
The outset is not looking very good.
I'm keeping my copy for posterity's sake. It's your money but please understand that you may not get your money's worth out of the game, ever.
Additionally, as pointed out by Crashed, Steam DB does continue to show that the game is actively being worked on in some capacity. We may have at-least one final update before things go tits-up.
I really hope development of the game goes to another studio.
