The constant negativity issuing forth from chronic complainers
Despite the negative reviews from some gamers/children who have played this game for all of 30 minutes and refunded or have turned into serial complainers simply becasue they suffer from lack of patience or their PC system does not have sufficient power or upto date drivers its a good game for the rest of us who enjoy simulators. Yes it needs work still thats obvious, it still needs patching to solve the issues that some are having with wheels or mostly AMD cards :) it still needs some polish like fernbus has had, floating objects , stupid AI etc etc...but these are minor issues that get sorted with feedback to the DEV's, its no good just spitting your dummies out just becasue you are running a PC that you dont keep upto date or its on its last legs and needs an overhall...apart from having to start a new career because my first one for some reason my coach went AWOL never to be seen again i am enjoying the release and i am confident things will improve over time ...unlike some who simply give up the ghost and shout from the house how bad the game is rather than admit they are running a system fit for the bin :) below are my average specs and i had no issues at all with this game running on epic in the settings nor did i have issues with anything else harware or software related...because i keep on top of my gaming machine ...simply stop moaning that the game sucks when in all fairness the issues stem from the user end not the developer in most cases, if you want a game that runs perfect accross the board then go play on a console :)

After Fernbus I'd rather wait for the full release of LOTUS than to waste 30 euros on this.

Well I doubt people have been refunding after just 30 minutes but certainly within the two hour maximum limit which is all that Steam allows for people to claim refunds.

If you're over the 2 hours you can go around the automated system and contact support for a refund. You do need a real good reason though to get it but it is possible.

Well FID, you seem to be a fanboy. But if a game is trash, you return it and play something else that is worth your time. Consider the "complaining" as feedback to devs and forum readers.

How much have you been paid for this verbiage, piece of sh..?

I get stable 60fps on Forza Horizon 4 on very high to ultra settings by 1080p
By Tourist bus sim I get drops down to 25fps on high settings 1080p and graphics look like Elder Scrolls Oblivion
So yea, I refunded coz it didn't look at all like store page screens and left a negative review coz even if the game idea is great with rpg and strategy elements, everything else just sucked
And if you don't like opinions of others, then, well, ignore them, get the game and have fun

Got fernbus, was terrible; TML is not able to make a decent game; and by decent game I mean something that a professional team would do.

I have a 3K computer and Fernbus was running like if someone did download Unreal engine the day before, while he was fixing piping, and decided to make a game. Optimization is a word that is unknown to many indie team that have no clue about how to optimize maps, assets and game code to get at least 30 FPS. That is a matter of facts; it is not a personal opinion from "kids whining because they do not understand".

I love simulators too, I wrote few simulators, commercial flight sims; so maybe I have a different level of rating in my scale, when I define a "simulator". TML makes arcade driving games; because the physics simulated on the bus animations do not translate in real driving behaviors. If you think that even an arcade game like Horizon 4 has better driving model than any TML game; then you understand that either you have no concept of what does it mean simulate a vehicle and drive a big rig, or you think to know it because of the Dunning-Kruger effect; and at that point even burnout paradise is a simulator.

Graphics is a hit or miss; I like it; even if it is stock Unreal engine graphics; whcih at this point is a staple of many games, the AI is atrocious; and considering that in this game you are penalized for accidents and damages; it makes the whole thing worst. The scale is wrong for the map; because the bus can barely fit in some streets; which in real life are not that small. Go check the real bus that are running on these routes; and check "Thiadhe"; which is the official company that does service bus transportation on the island; to get an idea of what are we talking about.

Floating objects; lack of details for many features that feel rushed; capability to run your company where you never see a soul; where you never touch your bus to fix it; where you never have a reason to buy some activity on the island, unless it is because your workers ask for it...these are all things that show that the features were put there for number, to create a false sense of depth. So you can hear youtubers checking the pre-release version of the game, say things like "lots of CONTENT!!! INCREDIBLE!!!".

You can check Squirrel channel to get an honest idea about this game; he is not a shill that just because he gets free keys, he does push a product if it is not good. While I can't say the same of other youtubers that love TML for their business with free keys and views on their channel.

The game is not bad; but show how sloppy TML is; how little they know about simulate a real bus; how little they care to position object on the frikkin floor; same problems with Fernbus and their previous bus "simulators"; to be honest I would not bet a cent on the "bus" game that they are releasing next year or whenever is ready; if this is what they deliver. 3 out of 3...either you accept that this is the best they can do and enjoy the game, or you open your eyes and stop lying yourself, because you buy games just because there is nothing better on the market, in the bus simulation category.

TML should fix their games first; and then release new ones; because real simulation lovers are tired to get iterations on the same arcade driving model that was ok 10 years ago, but not really acceptable today. Put all the buttons you want, and shiny surfaces on the bus; but if it drive like a cablecar on rails and the AI is so inadequate to require 20 patches to work correctly; the game will remain amateurish at best, and a waste of money.

Reviews - " mostly negative " ...

it's objective at this point in time . It's not subjective so there's no arguement .

Everything FID said is right! I understand some ppl want to refund the game to quickly get another game but writing a review while doing the tutorial is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! The "bad guys" are mostly the YouTubers which get the pressversion to show it to the subscribers just for making the very first videos about the game and receiving views! What they really should do is reporting bugs while playing. If everything did that, we would have a finished game now!

1. It's thanks to the "YouTubers" I got interested. Without them I should never even know about it and try the game.

2. Do you really think it's because the reviews I refunded the game? I can promise you, it was a) because the UI in the control menu that made me fed up. I have a wheel, and assign not only the basics like throttle, brake and steering but most of all the buttons was very tricky. b) The gear up and down was not working at all. c) I don't like devs leaving the gamepad stuff in a game when you not have a gamepad connected. It just makes it messy.

3. It's when you are playing the game you get the feel for it. And the feeling was NOT good.

It's two things I don't like in your post: - What's wrong to publish the first impressions in a video and why you call it BS? Can't you find another word for BS?
To me it was no "reviews". Are YouTubers bad guys when they are quick with news and also want views? Hmm, interesting. Most of them where actually Live streams for their subscribers.

This sums up pretty much, how some people are miles away from reality.

The game TML did play was to make the tutorial long enough, so by the time you are done, you can't refund...too bad that people are smart these days, and to get a feel for the driving model, it takes very little time; which is why people refunded between .3 and 1.5 hours. Considering the depth of a driving game; if you drive the bus or the car and feel like it is trash; then you have all that you need to decide if the game is for you or not. If this game was called "tour company simulator", then I may agree; since you need to see how deep the mechanics are.

Youtubers live out of views; and some influential ones (you know their names), do receive free keys, that they usually give out on their channels. That boost their views, since people look for previews of games; and help TML (or any other company; they all do the same); to get preorders.

Some are honest and say that a game is rubbish; others are fanboys or pure shill and endorse the game to get the cut. Can't really do anything about that, and this is why you need to get as many opinion as you get.

Bugs has been reported for ages on Fernbus; but TML is not willing to fix them (or maybe they really don't know how to fix them; that is also a possibility); so the assumption that reporting bugs means that they get fixed, is a dream that apply for other dev teams, but not for TML.

This is the same company that brought you 3 games all with the same problems on AI, driving mechanics and overall quality issues... go check out the real reviews from impartial people about the (in)famous TML driving games.

well thanks for the replies :P ...i have been playing the game solid for 10hrs and its fine i had one crash which was a pain in the ass because it wiped my saved position , other than that the driving feel is fine, the graphics need a slight tweek i am getting 45-60 fps on epic/ultra ....the whole games is different to FB....i have no reason to complain, basically unless you are prepared to give the game time to adjust and the devs to sort out minor issues then why buy the game in the first place? TML are not EA or Ubisoft , they dont have the capital to produce A+ titles straight off the shelf...and to be honest even those can fail in the first week unless patched ....my post was directed at those people who have not clearly played FernBus before or any TML game ....what did you expect? a silky smooth release which would run 100% straight from install? give me a break :) the game is not perfect not yet but unlike some i am prepared to spend the money and invest my time ...i understand that to some its alot of money for a game they thought would be flawless but you either did not do your research or you are just short of cash which is why you desperatly hit the refund button then proceeded to slag the game off to warn anyone else with no patience :) .....

Are you being paid? I hope so at least. They still haven't fixed Fernbus and here you are telling people to give them time to fix this game.

Fernbus was my first and also last TML game.
