I'd take Switch for portability, also the sprites would look better in a smaller display (might just be me).

Switch wont last a decade. Digital steam, share it with next generation.

Would get it for the switch...but I believe that will only be a Pokemon machine for the next few months.
Also, what is this cheat engine I am hearing about ?
Like can you unlock items or extra money ?
Switch tends to have much higher prices.

If you dont like the Game, you cant refund on Switch.

I would never buy a 70+ hours long game with nonexistent graphics on PC. I can’t imagine sitting through 70+ h behind the PC playing a jRPG, and Switch is a completely different matter: play as much as you want, pause wherever you like, continue when you have free time.
But this comes from a family man who can’t spend a lot of time with a stationary platform such as PC or PS.
If you spend a lot of time with the home PC, decide for yourself.

Switch.
1) Pixel graphics will be better there.
2) Portability if needed.
3) That sweet feeling of the game just being made for the console.

I'd play it on PC, but I'm constantly expanding my Switch pixel(art) games and I'm not having a slightest feeling of hesitation. I love Switch.

Who sits in front of a PC monitor to play a classic JRPG? I don't, I use a modern cable called HDMI which transports the game to my TV and activates couch console feeling, without having a console. Just PC, which emulates anything else, sooner or later.

I would have to use a 20 m HDMI cable dragged across the whole apartment lol

One thing you should not forget.
If you don’t have a console, you’ll also need to purchase a console…

I don't think there's a real difference, other than whether you have a handheld console or a laptop.
