Why isnt it realistic? They have MTX so dedicated servers should be the norm along with anitcheat.
2. Free-to-Play or at least Standalone purchase
3. Make RE: Resistance store page visible to searches
4. Actually comment on the balance, and state that they're going to work on it
5. Anti-cheat
6. Server-side validation
7. Remove gag-order from NeoBards so they can make official statements - OR - make some official statements themselves instead of radio silence.
8. Replace the Jill DLC with another Rando - We don't need celebrity cameos, the series storyline is as threadbare as it gets without playing more mental gymnastics
9. Interact with forums, or at least make tweets that address community issues
10. Better control custimization
11. Make the matchmaking screen interactive - allow players to customize and deal with other settings / keybindings while they wait. It's not 1999 anymore. . .
-Servers, don't grant hosting privileges to any of the players. and if they were to do so, then allow survivors aswell to be the host.
-Take a deep look at how many exploits both sides take advantage of, like playing with doors around Mr X, or placing traps under zombies, or simply placing traps in the very same spot where the survivor stands.
-Ranked matches, its not fun to have a team of newbie survivors against overleveled Daniel, Spencer, or pretty much any other mastermind when it comes to having large rank gaps.
-Allow the use of defensive items, i´d be ok if they removed saferooms, if they allowed survivors to use defensive items when they get grabbed and their team isnt around, for whatever unfathomable reason.
-Balance both Masterminds and Survivors... Example, Daniel has knock resistance, and even Sam, a pro boxer cannot knock them, well at least make those zombies knockable if they get hit from behind.
-Take Martin to the gym, i mean just look at thim, that guy needs some milk (jk, this one wasnt serious... but give him a haircut!)
-Like others' have said, remove lootboxes.
-Make more meaningful cosmetics beyond just repaints, would be fun to have uniforms for the survivors, like RPD, or STARS, UBCS, USS and such.
-Ultimates should be killable, and Sam's punch should act like Tyrone's kick, not for doors, but at least for Ultimates when they grab someone. Only Alex's Ultimate feels remotely killable, and still takes an insane ammount of damage. I´m no saying players should actively hunt them down and get easy kills out of them, but punish wreckless usage of the ultimate so it isnt as cheap as it currently is, because for the most part is an invitation to just rush to the saferoom if you don't have any grenades on you.
-Devs should be more communicative with the community, i know these forums as a crapshow of insults and such, but good will to participate from the devs could aliviate the current climate.
-Have a ping system, seriously, playing with random survivors is a disaster, at least if we had some basic waypoint system between teammates, maybe, JUST MAYBE playing with randoms wouldnt be AS BAD.
-And yeah, nerf Daniel, because at high rank he trivializes all other MM, even Spencer. Even his own players say he's got 98% win rate, that doesnt sound remotely balanced.
-Penalty quitters by taking points away, or even lowering their rank. This practice is way too common, more on the survivor side than the MM side of it, and that only punishes those who remain even more.
-Have a roadmap, or people would be expecting the game to die always.
-WAY MORE ACTUAL maps, survivors and masterminds. Sick of the same 4 maps, sick of the same 4 viocelines, sick of the same old survivors XD. Have a Mastermind like Marcus who puts animal zombies, or have a stealthy survivor who's ultimate completely escapes the MMs vision.
-An actual anti cheat system, cause there's been plenty of reports with video evidence of both sides cheating.
-Make hero upgrades more meaningful, "greatly increases" is just a 25%, and even if it can be stacked, its not good enough for how beefy zombies becomes for high rank MMs.
-Separete this from RE3, in other words, make it a 20$ standalone.
Phew i feel like i could keep going, but its gonna take too long and nobody is gonna read it (its not like anyone's gonna read this anyways).
I think the survivors either need less ammo to encourage melee, or big guns need to use WAY more ammo. I think if Magnums are going to two shot zombies they shouldn't only use 6 bullets and gain more than they use on average.
Special weapons, frankly, just shouldn't be in the game AT ALL, or at the very least should be super rare and have way less ammo than they do. Nor should grenade drops exist. Clearing a horde of buffed zombies instantly should take a precious resources, but should be worth it. You shouldn't win the game because you found a minigun and now nothing the MM can do can stop you.
The gap between a controlled zombie and uncontrolled needs to be WAY smaller in terms of AI and the ability to hurt survivors who casually bullrush em. AI for dogs and Lickers needs to be vastly improved (They are useful but frustratingly high variance). You should need guns to kinda make em flinch and melee for the kill or else your going to lose a lot of ammo or take some damage, you shouldn't casually blast them away or smack them once to stunlock em for 5 years.
Time shouldn't go above 5 minutes. The time reward for basic zombies probably should go down.
Survivors going down should be the main time penalty, not survivors dying. I get there is an intent to encourage you to rescue someone, but it should be valid to just leave someone to die so they can't keep getting hit while you rush the objective, as a big thing that throws matches in round 1 for survivors is some dummy hitting every trap and getting bit 20 times.
Spencer needs a bit of a rework. I don't think he is that good (I haven't lost to a Spencer for quite a while because he is so easy to counter) but he is sure as hell not fun to play against. It basically comes down to if 3/4 of your team understands how he works, and if they do its an easy win with 8 minutes on the clock despite the 4th guy constantly dying to turrets, and if its 2 or less your done.
Zombies who are spawned out of survivor sightlines should spawn instantly. A big problem with MM is that if the survivors get even a little lead suddenly your zombies are getting spawn killed because the maps aren't too big.
Jumping in and out of zombies needs to be WAY more reliable, it sometimes gets 'locked' by CC which should NEVER happen.
Some camera placement is just... bad. Labs comes to mind where if you take out one camera you can mindlessly wail on an objective with the MM not able to spawn even something within dog agro distance on you.
Off topic but, did Capcom pull down that leak? I admit I went looking at one point because I heard they werent even just nude textures but fully modeled genetailia, which just boggled my mind lmao.
