read our criticisms man. 5/6 hour adventure and not as consistent as re2/4 remake. imo first half is weak, second half is better.
if you really wan to play it, go for it. just go in with tempered expectations.
REmake2 on average is 4-8, 10 hours at best. REmake3 is 4-6 at best.
But it is inferior to the original in every single possible way. That isn't to say the game is bad, because it simply isn't. However there are a lot of cutscenes and the game is VERY linear apart from two sections.
To complete everything and get 100%, it might take you 30-40 hours. There is also an additional challenge mode/difficulty called Inferno which remixed the enemies/item placement and makes it harder. Something like Madhouse in Resident Evil 7.
I bought it at full price on release for PS4, later got a free update on PS5 and now got it on PC because it was cheap in a bundle (Got the bundle for REmake2 BioRand Randomizer which is coming soon).
For 10€, it's certainly worth it if you are planning on replaying the game, doing all the challenges and Inferno, going for +S rank, etc.
It's a good game, just a horrible Remake.
its short but it encourages replayability due to the points shop n unlockable difficulties.
u also get resident evil resistance, a online pvp game thats like outbreak mixed wit dungeons n dragons.
its a fun game to run thru wit all the bonus weapons u unlock every once in a while.
3 Original just has everything you'd expect RE3 to have and more. Compared to 3R, which doesnt even live up to RE2R let alone get close to the original in content.
It's a fun game, just not super long. There was more to the original in terms of locations and events but the original was still a pretty short game like all the OG REs. I recommend this game, especially since you can often get it on sale for like 10 bucks.
