HDR fix
HDR works fine once, then its all washed out and super dark. in RE2 same problem could be fixed by reinstalling, in this one whatever i do its just broken now.
anyone knows a fix?

For me, disabling HDR on Windows fixes it.
I get the same washed out issue if HDR is on, in Windows Display Settings.

had the same issues on RE2/3/7/village
newest nvidia drivers seems to work after a reboot.

here and then, playing a different game on HDR seems to break RE Engine Games HDR again and i need to reboot.

HDR worked yesterday and today it doesnt and it didnt work a week ago but it worked the week before that ...... WHAT the hell is going on

Driver bug or Windows bug.

Its auto HDR causing the issue.
Go to your desktop click the windows icon and open "graphics" find the RE3 exe file and click options and turn off Auto HDR for this game (this way it only affect title you click and leaves it on for others). Then turn on HDR in game and its all ok. All the resident evil games do this.
