They had their quick buck so they moved on. While the fans stay behind with a shell of a game. They ♥♥♥♥ the bed on this piece of crap.

Rumor is, the developers that worked on RE3, stopped awhile ago and are working on another "bigger" Capcom remake.

Nope, sorry. That isn't the case. The DLC is called Resident Evil Resistance. It takes the game to a multiplayer mode where you have 4 players to a team, and some kind of twisted monster fest you have to fight through using teamwork. The boss is supposed to not only drop unique loot, but it also can unlock other characters to play through it with with various different weapons and load out.

The reason why you don't see it is because the game developer made it invisible and unsearchable. Why? Because right now, there is a rewards promotion that gives a code to activate it if you buy a new video card for your PC if this game is on that brand's promotion. I got RE3 and RE3-Resistance because my older video card went bad, and I picked up an RX 5700 XT and the codes for them both were emailed to me.

Once those promotional offers end, I can see them making it available to everyone. Stupid, I know, but it's how they're doing it.

Edit: This is what's currently posted on RE3-Resistance store page:

Notice: At the request of the publisher, RESIDENT EVIL RESISTANCE is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search.

Give them a little time, I say.

When absolutely no one is playing the multiplayer(it's played less everyday), then we will open up the store page.
MAKES SENSE

Um, you realise Resistance comes with RE3 anyway? Everyone who owns RE3 already has Resistance.

Therefore it isn't DLC.

I'm 99% sure the OP is talking about RE3 DLC, similar to the DLC released for RE2.

Lots of fans have been asking for extra content since the game's release, and the only thing we got was an expensive soundtrack.

But for Resistance? They have already released Jill and Nickolai. Heck, they have even posted a roadmap.

The only logical assumption is that they only care about Resistance, since by releasing new playable characters, they can get more $$$ via RP boosters.
Pay fo RE:R, buy lootboxes...

The game is selling well for them.

They don't want to waste their money in adding DLCs to this game.

Why should they add new stuff when RE fans buy every RE product these days ?(The success of RE 2 remake allows them to take this risk.)

If they opened a Capcom amusement park then I would go there. There is a Monster Hunter restaurant where you get the food from MHW.
But still , 2 million fans were easily tricked into buying Resident Evil 3 remake.(Even though that it was completely evident that it was going to be a bad game based on the leaks)

Ya, I understand your frustration. I am bit disappointed that the game felt short, lacked a lot of content & replayability. Hence, CAPCOM should've brought back classic Mercenaries Mode, more story, RNG puzzles, more B.O.W.s, and more character development!

will once you got everything in the game its just no reason to come back. i got everything in game now and in shop and must say this game just does not feel great at all. and at first was interesting until i just see nothing much to do. plus game to easy for me. and wonder if they add a merc mode to fill something. who knows but this does get boring afterward.

The game's marketing showed RE3R including RE: Resistance which, based on the facts, it is actually the other way around, RE: Resistance with DLC RE3R.

Honestly, I do not expect any free expansion of RE3R, it is clear that they have forgotten about it since they have not even bother to reply to any of the technical issues that have been reported about RE3R.

Clearly RE3R was designed in such a way for players to would go through it quickly in order for players to move into RE: Resistance.

I did played RE: Resistance for a couple of hours and found it to be lame and boring. You play with an underpowered team of survivors just to be totally crushed by an overpowered mastermind. Even with the leveling up system, I did not found any reason to expend a lot of hours in RE: Resistance.

They might expand the game after separating RE: Resistance from RE3R though, however, most likely, RE3R would end up being a Director's cut or Deluxe edition which most likely is not going to be free and probably would cost somewhere between 20 - 60 USD.

Overall, I think this was the lowest blow to RE fans that Capcom could have come with thus I do not think any of us should pre-order or buy any Capcom games before we have a clear view of what we are getting for our well earned money.

Matchmaking is also broken. New players are often if not always paired against an overpowered and overleveled Mastermind. You can't compete against that.
Which also puts news players off. Everything is rushed about RE3 & Resistance, just a quick cash grab.

Who even wants to play a multiplayer mode in which you first have to level for 20 hours to even stand a chance.
