MT Framework and RE Engine are different engines.
That's not how ANY of that works.
The engine used to make RE1 remake on gamecube was MT Framework. That's the name of the engine.

This and other more recent games use RE Engine. Even when it's being used for things that aren't Resident Evil, it's still called RE Engine. Because that's the name of the damn thing.
