Game freezes after bomb explosion on shower room on carlos gameplay

I already checked the integrity oft he files multiple times. Also tried loading the game from an earlier save. The game simply ends there for me and not even stopping from steam works, I have to kill the steam process with the task manager.

This freeze happens everytime I exploe the bomb on the shower room and I am only able to make one step foward and the game gets stuck, no error message just the screen frost.

Might be a faulty HDD/SSD. Can you move it to a different drive and try it again ?

my game also freezed one time. it kept running but buttons or keyboard wasnt working. windows was fine

Was your system overclocked?

Same here but after the big boom my games just crash over and over :((

I can only get to the part where you put the C4 timer in, and then Carlos just stays there standing, nothing happens.

Update: I rebooted the computer and same thing happened, so that was not it.

I reloaded an earlier save (before Carlos) and then started again and got over that area. I guess I'm saving as often as possible now in case there's a glitch, these get saved, apparently.

I found a solution to the problem. Uninstall / disable / reinstall video codecs on your system.
