"...277 Fatal D3D Error [25]
These idiots deoptimized a game that worked great. Now the error comes out on a decent video card 2060 super "...277 Fatal D3D Error [25]. Previously, the game flew at 60 fps and there were never crashes. And where do they get such talents?!

Yep, I had the same issue here (3070) after around 30 minutes.

I have a 3080 fe and I Resident Evil 3 will not start after the "update".

I have the same issue. After 20 to 25 minutes the game crashes with that error code. The odd thing is the other two game Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 7 I don't have any crash issues with.

I think the game has a VRAM leak. Hopefully it will get patched out. In the mean time try setting the texture quality to High 0.5GB, Shadows to very high and RT off and it will go away.

ok then they have not tested the 3080 for sure. I have a 3080 myself and the game wont launch it just gives me a black screen when loading the game up. 3700x 3080 founders stock clocks

Same problem with the dx12 error code. I searched a lot for a fix... In the ini files i changed averything to d12 and the downclocked my video card (rtx2060). No results so far, after some gameplay the game crashes. reinstalled the game, runing under privilege mode giving it priority on graphics settings under windows, i tried everything in my grasp and nothing works.

the game should have never released like this they should have just announced it then tried a beta test. its not like the updates was a secret when they even said that the specs was gonna be getting upped before the reveal at capcoms event.

Don't exceed your VRAM on your GPU and you won't crash.

You're right, but the issue is that the game is excessively using VRAM compared to before. I could run this game at max settings 130% res before this patch. Now I have to turn shadows down to high, RT off and textures to high 0.5 just for the game to not crash.

This is with a RTX3070

Same here. On a 3070, game crashes with a d3d error roughly 30 minutes in.

Same

Same here on a 3060 TI, its unplayable for me, RE2 Remake works for me, there is one scene where RE2 Crashes but RE3 crashes on every Corner.
Im happy about this Updates but i hope Capcom will fix the Memory Leak, i wait with RE3 for the fix.

Its funny. I played RE2,3,7,Village before with GTX 980 (4GB) all maxed out on Full HD only with Shadows on high and now i get a RTX 3060 TI and with the Update its unplayable for me because the Memory Leak and the crashes, but the Performance is fine, some loading stutterings but everytime 60 FPS with Vsync. (only played the Early Game because the Crashes)

I turned down a few settings and played the game okay for a few hours, now I'm getting a fatal error no matter what my settings are set to.
Very annoying, I have a 3070ti with a 5800x.
