Not a fan of the Nemesis dog though. And Nemesis alien queen is like... really?
Play it in Nightmare/Inferno. Game is VERY difficult (without shop items of course).
Carlos is fine, he looks brazilian now.
Not a bad game, not a good remake either. A missed opportunity, CAPCOM did not put too much effort in it.
Yep. Not a bad game, but RE3 deserved much better. After RE2R especially, it feels like a cheap cash-in.
example - the bridge moment where the game is like " hold W". like for no reason at all. or the hosptial part at the end where you turn into JOHN RAMBO and ammo spawns outa thin air everywhere. awful truly awful.
What i dont get is putting some extra puzzles into the game would not have been a difficult task to do and it would of easily extended the gameplay without having to put in more sections of the game etc.
But like you said, they didnt really care much.

especially in regards to capcom properties, but do not forget the lessons mighty no. 9 taught us about rockstar producers who get credit for a popular series.
RE 2 :
- no interaction at all between scenario A & B
- no spider : replaced by a horde of G-virus creatures
- no possibility to cut in 2 parts zombies with the shotgun
- no real Ada Wong, Marvin Branagh & Kendo scenarios
- no scenario at all for Sherry. The orphanage part is totally dissapointting.
- No intro into nightmarish streets : you are just in front of the police station in the starting avenue ! We all remember the stress to arrive in one piece in the RPD station. Here it's deleted and the streets are mixed in oprhanage's part but ... empty too and it's too easy to avoid fights.
- No giant moth : they could add it and make something scaring in the lab.
- No scenario for Hunk
- no random mode for the items (N64 option)
- no battle mode
- kendo's shop street empty !
- they could cut off the lights in the lab too & add zombies ! too much light and no dark places.
RE3 :
- scripted Nemesis : it destroys completely the ingenious original game system that created an intense stress to all players..
- no more influence of the choices on the running scenario (escape or fight nemesis)
- no Brad or Marvin scenarios
- no clocktower & parc
- a stupid giant ultimate boss not credible at all (they wanted to copy dead space ?)
- not enough street & building locations : huge lack of exploration !
- no zombie hordes
- no possbility to cut in 2 zombies wih the shotgun
- game looks like an action movie, you control few times the character. is it a game ?
- no mercenaries scenario (they could add one special to discover how they have been hurt and forced to find a shelter into the metro)
- an online game no one wanted. wasted money that could be invested into the lenght of the RE3 scenario and replay.
The problem is always the same in video game industry : you make a game and you take your time to make quality. it becomes a "hit" you have to make a second episode and plaf ! you have a deadline for the investors. your game is then lower in quality since you have no time to develop it correctly. I would wait 2 more years to get a better RE3 game, same for RE2 that was close to the perfection.
Let's wait 20 more years and many be we'll get something better & complete.
You can split zombies in two with shotgun in RE2R. Aim to the stomach at point blank range.
