You don't have to beat the game on higher difficulty to unlock some items, you can now just buy those using ingame credits "after" you bought the new DLC ;)))

Turns out the 400mb update is actually just the opening download for re3 remake, for some reason, the actual update is 4.4gb... the update size makes zero sense... ok now it has changed to 19.5gb... what is going on with this update? Edit just canceled it and uninstalled it and reinstalled the game from scratch...

increased the amount of hair on Carlos's head to 163.
increased the amount of lashes on Jill's eyes to 3.
increased amount of polygons of all objects and models to 6.
improved zombie death animation speed to 0.3sec.
Fixed Jill's walk/Run- Step sound to 1.2Hz
Fixed Nemesis replic: "STAS" to "STARS"

It updated RE3 for resistance? I dont get it

Only way its that big and doesnt include new content is if they did a old school patching that deletes a whole folder and re-downloads it to update a file in the folder.

I dont have REsistence installed, so I hope its not related. My update was 400mb.

I also know that RE3 single player was dead on arrival with updates/modes so not sure what it really is. Best bet is folder patch to updated a few lines of code for the new DLC that allows you to not only skip to the front of the line, but also skip the ride too and go right to the exit!

How long did it take the update to install for you guys after it was downloaded ?

For me like 8 minutes. Trying to find out my HDD is at fault or not.

nah it took over 5 mins for me. not sure exactly and my HDD is fine.

I uninstalled resistance because it sucked, so what is in the update for RE3, steam wouldnt update a game i dont have installed
