Report a translation problem
I remember being shocked as a dumb kid to hear Carlos speak, and then Mikhail too. My honest thought about the change for this RE3 Remake was: "Did they choose someone without an accent for Carlos so they wouldn't be accused of racism?"
Cause y'know, heaven forbid we have someone talented give the character the same accent he had in the original RE3 from 1999.
As for why he doesn't have it in Remake; it's because Jeff Schine doesn't have one and/or his false accent was too cartoonish for the tone of the game's cutscenes and the character himself.
