Game stuck at 30hz, every other game can run at 60hz just fine.
Not sure what's going on with RE, any resolution I play at it won't go higher than 30 hz. Every other game I play has no issues hitting 60 fps. I have a 1080ti, and a Ryzen 1800x and neither of them are struggling. I Just can't get the settings in RE3 to go past 30hz. Is there a way to force it?

did you set the refresh rate to 30?

Disable V-sync in the Nvidia control panel. Check if your monitor is running at 60hz.

1) It's impossible to have an Nvidia card and not have the control panel installed...it's part of the driver.
2) The graphics options have a framerate option in addition to vsync. It's probably that.

Sounds like you don't have any drivers installed. If you did, you would have access to the Control panel. That explains why your game is running at such a low refresh rate. Download the latest drivers from the Nvidia website and test again.

With Win7 I don't remember, but Win10 will automatically install the drivers (including the Nvidia control panel) if you don't have them at all, the first time you do a windows update.

If you download the drivers off their website. It will install the control panel.

Windows made Nvidia stop bundling other software with the drivers if you get them through windows, you have to download control panel through the windows store separately.

Cleary you're being ignorant, and don't want our help. Just install the control panel. And disable V-Sync, and check if 60Hz is enabled. Maybe even enable High Performance while your at it.

Also the control panel is still bundled with the standard drivers. You only need to download them if you install the DHC version. Which i personally avoid, since i hate the Microsoft store. And have it disabled on my end.
