First person mode
I thought 1st person was coded into the game and then 3rd person was enabled for the rest of it, but now I can confirm that. The Ultimate Trainer for RE3 features an option to enable first person mode. It's not a customizable modding function, but a simple point and click, on and off feature, which means all the game needs is an instruction to return to first person. I have tested this myself and I can tell you that for some reason, the 1st person view was a function that was to be enabled only for Jill's apartement, but is a part of the game instruction code - it was just disabled to please 3rd person fans.

Make sure your graphics API is set to DX11, and you downloaded the RE3 zip from appveyor not RE2.

dinput8.dll goes in the game's root folder
Yeah I did that exactly right but for some reason its not seeming to work, I used to use the re2 version with re2 so idk why this suddenly doesnt work
Vignette disable mod was conflicting with it, too bad i have to disable that to get it working

Edit: disable vignette is a feature of it, nice

Something else may be conflicting with it, although I'm not sure what. I'm currently using RE Framework plus the zombie 60 fps fix and injectable camera tools, and everything works as it did for RE2 for me as well.

Edit: Ah I see. Well you can disable the vignette with RE Framework as well

Hope they can make also for RE7 and upcoming RE8, but FPS to TPS.

Is there an option in the framework mod to avoid showing the outline of the character's head. I ask because Ada's head in RE2 remake had the camera positioned not as well as Leon or Claire and when she walked, you can see the outline of her head.

This doesn't happen to Jill, does it happen to Carlos?

I haven't played the whole game in first person so unsure if Carlos has this issue

Well, I'm going to finish the game in 3rd person and then replay it in 1st. I want to compare both modes, but like the RE2 remake, I'm sure I'll prefer 1st person.

If the game is fully playable that way, it would have been cool to have it as an unlockable option.

It still might be. I would like to know how to modify the camera in the RE2 remake to correct the slight angle problem with Ada. She plays well in Fp mode, but the outline of her face is a little distracting.

It's so they can force players to look at ugly feminist Jill.
