Why doesn't Nemesis just kill Jill if he's after S.T.A.R.S.
There are so many times he just throws her away or uses his tentacle to kill someone next to her that i just can't take the story seriously, he could have killed her so many times.

Because it's supposed to be cinematic and stuff

Plot armor.

Plot armor. Same reason he shoots down the helo in the original instead of Jill who's just standing there oblivious

Because that's what a villain does in cheap Hollywood movies. He threats you, puts you on the edge and tells you his secret plan to conquer the world so you can just destroy it.

-Whoa, Mr. Director, this idea is soo good. Kids are gonna feel so scared by the monster menacely staring at the protagonist and killing her friends. This has to be the real horror I've heard of.

Masterpiece.

You're gonna die Mr.Bond, but first let me tell you my true intentions and toy with you so you can escape and later kill me. CLASSIC TACTIC IN WRITING SCRIPTS!

I noticed that in the best movies, the villain never gets an obvious chance to kill the protagonist. Terminator 1 comes to mind.

This is how everything is though. Most action or horror movies would be like 5 or 10 minutes long if that's how they did things.

It's just a trope that movies and games use where the main villain somehow can't kill the main character. Nemesis is basically the Terminator he's supposed to be a perfect killing machine and is programmed to do only one thing.

nemesis is an anime villain who unintentionally does helpful things. if you have problem with that I suggest stop buying japanese games.

Jill pushes Nemesis off a bridge.I love that game but that's even less realistic.

She also can blind him with a spotlight and he falls off a building.

You're absolutely right there. That's the difference between a carefully crafted plot and this cheap Remake XD. In RE2R, Mr.X grabs Leon at the garage and goes for the kill with no hesitation. Just Bertolucci killed before to see how brutal he is, no cheapness. Of course Ada's intervention may not be the best solution regarding this. Birkin saves Claire too but Sherry was there (maybe it was that, maybe a perfect coincidence...) and it felt great to see the hunter become prey. I would't say it was perfect, but at least it was good and they didn't abuse it.

Btw: terminator 1 is great.

Meanwhile the black guy dies the first time he meets Nemesis, with a tentacle in his chest...

Or alternatively he waits for her to unplug that spotlight and throw the cord in the water so that he can get electrocuted.

I think people take these games too seriously if they get hung up on how things don't always make the most sense.
