How not to use your Brad Vickers.

--First, how you use your Brad Vickers RIGHT:

OG RE1:

Introduce him as a coward in the first game, abandoning his teammates to die a gruesome death at the hands of the most nightmarish creatures.

OG RE2:

Have his zombie at the R.P.D. as a neat secret to find. Leaving you with the mystery of how he dies (Good setup).

OG RE3:

Since it happens before RE2, show him scared to dead, talking nonsensically about a still unknown threat, just to having him cowardly running away again, leaving you nervous about what is to come.

Some time later, just when you think you arrived somewhere safe, have him entering the R.P.D. in a terrified rush, just to be stoped by a dark tall figure that gives him a glorious gruesome death. Explaining how he dies (Great Payoff). Introducing Nemesis, a real threat that just took the life of your commrade in front of your eyes.


--Now, How to use your Brad Vickers WRONG:

Rmk RE1:

Introduce him as a coward in the first game, abandoning his teammates to die a gruesome death at the hands of the most nightmarish creatures.

Rmk RE2:

Have a poster of him in the place his zombie used to be, just because LOL, remember? Brad used to appear here in the OG, spoon of nostalgia.

Rmk RE3:

Have a note from Brad in your appartment talking about "S.T.A.R.S. forever" and stuff, not even giving an apoligy for how he cowardly abandoned his teammates to die at the Arkhlay mountains.

Since Nemesis, the "biggest threat" has been already introduced, not killing anything or giving you any real reason to why he's to be feared. What better than having the team coward, Brad Vickers, calmly and casually talking about "that thing that has a hard on the S.T.A.R.S. members". Then casually walking through the chaos of Raccon city.

Then, because Brad is not a coward, he's a hero! He sacrifices himself to save Jill. Staying behind being devoured by a dozen of zombies. S.T.A.R.S. forever!

Lastly have him magically appearing at the R.P.D. so he can bit Marvin, so people can say "Oh! It was Brad all the time", not before zombie Brad repeating "Sorry". But ok, if "Itchy Tasty" zombie could write a letter, I don't see why zombie Brad can't talk.


Now here you have it! How not to use your Brad Vickers. I hope it's useful for the next remakes that might come out in 20 years!

So bad that he doesn't kill brad first so brad couldn't warn jill as soon as she woke up from her ptsd dream. If he just murdered brad who was clearly outside because thats where you meet him in. Nemesis would've easily been able to kill an unsuspecting jill. But hey he had a perfect chance to kill her as soon as he burst through the wall but instead kicked her to the wall and allowed her to get in some shots then just tossed her to the ground instead of just impaling her face with the tentacle.

which is also weird considering everyone else (except nikolai for some reason) got instantly one banged by nemesis, Mikhail instantly got impaled, Tyrese got impaled and died instantly after being tossed. So his main objective who he's supposed to kill instantly, he just plays with her and infects her instead of just killing her outright.

Well that's not completely true either because Nikolai doesn't even know the bioweapon at all and all he knew was that it was after stars members, so he investigated it and got combat data to send to wesker. So umbrella is just really bad at their jobs or there is a huge plothole there.

One thing I will give the new RE3 is that they didnt screw up the Nem voice. It's not the same but it isnt as bad as in other incarnations. Have you heard him in Operation Raccoon City...?

Yeah all he says is he notices that there's an unknown bioweapon that is chasing only two people, one of which was brad who became infected and jill. So he concludes that they're after stars members, the combat data was just a bonus to him. The thing that makes zero sense is that Nemesis doesn't bother attacking him but attacks anyone else even remotely close to jill.

I dunno. His design feels like a knock-off brand imitation of the real thing in REmake3. His voice is deep but it lacks projection, when he roars and dies after certain fights it doesn't feel or look like he's putting any emotion behind it. As one of the comments says - it's like he's losing his voice a little bit more with every game he appears in.

It's like he's kinda slow and just says like "hurr durr STURS!" or something, or at least that's how it comes across to me lol. I doesn't sound like he's saying "STARS!" it's more like "STAIRS!" or "STORES!"

That doesnt make any sense anyway. Nikolai wasnt monitoring Jill until after Nem v her peaked his interest as a side source of income. So he never would have known that Nemesis was after Brad.

And don't forget the amount of times Nikolai teleports around to annoy jill at the right moments.
Teleports behind jill to shoot murphy in the head, teleports out of a derailing train, teleports just outside where jill and dogmesis just had a fight and just walks right next to the thing despite not knowing what its truely capable of, also teleporting next to a broken staircase jill was clinging onto. Oh and how he beat the hell out of carlos while jill is fighting Godmesis, but decides not to fly out of there with the chopper while carlos was knocked out which goes against what he just told jill earlier. "City is about to explode and you can't put a price on life"
