Why is Nikolai so stupid?

he did escape in the helicopter in the original but you had to decide whether or not to engage him lol

took me like 8 mins to kill nemesis and had to die alot at infarno and nikolai had all that time to leave. does not take 8 mins to fly out of here in a copper. lol agree ending was little silly.

I don't think that re is a proper propaganda gaem, so looks like Nikolai is just another stupid evil villian is all. Kinda dashing though, with character traits however rudimental they may be unlike of mainstream re char. Nonetheless, could have made it out quite easily; if some one and half dimensional chump like carlos can operate a helicopter, insidious creep like Nikolai can do it too.
