Why Capcom rushed RE3 Remake....disappointing
RE2 remake just released in 2019 and 1 year later we already see RE3 R....while it's nice to see this fast but the quality of the game seem declining...many reviewer give bad score to RE3 R. Man this is just sad....It feel like Capcom rushing RE3 development

2019 was a great year for Capcom with RE2 Remake and DMC5 got insanely good review

CAPCOM probably thought fans would love even though capcom halfassed the game, RE2r success made them become greedy again and want some quick cash, no regional pricing is one of the proves and its 35% more expensive than RE2r initial pricing

It's just not worth it at the moment, I'll wait for the sale. RE2 went into sale in few months, meanwhile there's NIOH2 / FF7remake / TOCS 3 to play

It's a fast cash grab, to make the most of the popularity and excitement from RE2.

ITT: People oblivious to the fact that RE2 and RE3 remakes were in simultaneous development

They can't! It's obviously developed in those last months!
It's well know that developers can't make more than one game at time.

I'm being sarcastic if it wasn't clear.
5 till 6 hours, lesser gore... And then I must pay 60 € ? o.o What a mess

well, it was made by new studio, not the same studio of RE2 REMAKE. It was M-Two that ruined everything

They’ve been exactly the same since the SNES days without changing.

You sure about this ? remember Disc locked content Era, sell ending in Asura wrath,Low quality in Lost planet 3 and Dead rising 4, release DLC but need buy full game full price again in Dragon dogma:Darkarisen, SFV, that Era ppl call Crapcom, They transform back to Capcom since RE2R, MHW, DMC5, Mega Man 11.

It all comes down to PR management. CAPCOM thought it was a good idea to release their product, even though the content was obviously too short. But on the bright side, CAPCOM are actively listening to the fans and hopefully they'll eventually release more content in the near future. Not to mention, Peter Fabiano, Producer for CAPCOM at Osaka, Japan actually made a response on Twitter and here's what he had to say for RE fans: 🔹" We’re listening to fans, but unfortunately, I cannot respond to everyone’s comments on social media. We’re glad to know that so many people are passionate about the brand. Hope you’re healthy and safe wherever you are."🔹 https://twitter.com/PFabiano/status/1252005001519480832

Unfortunately listening to the fans is never cheap.(Since then they have to put 1-2 years more development time for every games.)

Sometimes they are forced to not do that.(Since they don't want to go bankrupt.)

In my theory RE 3 remake was "rushed" because Monster Hunter franchise knocked RE out of the park.(Now Monster Hunter is their #1 ip)

My guess is they were banking on RE: Resistance being more popular than it actually was. I am curious to know why Merc mode was cut.

Didn't different teams work on RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake?
