And eventually I started joking about it with my friends who were watching me play. *This seems like a good nemesis appearance locat- Oh look there he is.*
Eventually a chore avoiding him even though there are only 2 non scripted nemesis chases in the entire game?
He isn't that scary after the first play through anyway. He goes down for 30 seconds after you wallop him, plenty of time to run around and do what you need to. Perfect your dodge rolls and you can pretty much ignore the guy.
It is almost hilarious with the two Attack coins. I can keep him down with the pistol.
Nemesis is what makes this game what it allways was.
For my own i wish there was no scripted scenes i wish he would chase us through the game like Mr X in Resident Evil 2...
If you're annoyed because he was chasing you for like 2 Minutes then you should deinstall the game and rather play minecraft stupid toodler..
Yeah Original Nemesis was more fun, he stalked you sorta like Mr.X but could only spawn in next area after you let the camera move away from the door (loading and all that back then), he roamed the streets randomly making him better, he didn't teleport ahead, you could lose him easily after two or three areas and might not meet him for ages. I wont say he wouldn't teleport, whilst he wouldn't just appear ahead of you like he does now, he obviously wasn't in constant movement like Mr.X is as it was PS1, the whole maps wasn't in use at once but he would wander or appear around the map, generally never ahead, he would usually come from behind areas you left to give the idea he was following you. It meant it was rare for him to be in front as he is tracking you, it meant when you lost him, if you went back you might find him but he wouldn't be in the next area waiting. Back then it was said he was tracking you, so he followed your tracks, it was more fun, random encounters added a scare factor and made him annoying in a fun way but meant you could run ahead a few areas and come back to explore if you missed something.
Nah, I think I'll just play the game in a way where I have fun instead. I'm sorry if you're annoyed that I'll play the game my own way and not the way you want but I suggest you get used to the idea of people not playing the game the same way you would.
same with any character like this, I consider it a cop out in the horror genre.
There is only one short section where he follows you around after that its entirely scripted highly linear chase sequences in locations where you are not even meant to explore anything.
I wouldn't mind him being removed cause his existence is pointless, while of course the game is suppose to be about him.
If he would chase around the same way as Mr. X, then I, and probably a very large part of the fans would love it.
I fear to think that Capcom listened to all complains about Mr. X and they just straight butchered Nemesis for the pleasing of casuals. Just like it also happened with the unlockable items: "We know most of you can't finish the game on harder difficulties, so eh...kill some zombies for points and unlock 'em infinite stuff!" How very exciting.
I get why some people didn't like Mr. X, I thought he was kind of annoying too, but Nemesis is nothing like him.
2.) You are unironically a scrub and fake gamer if you had a problem with Mr. X. He was a great part of that game and was never annoying if you're not a moron. Your skyrim avatar only supports this assessment that you are a fake gamer. That is the most boomer-tier bullcrap game ever released. Only people over 60 actually enjoy Skyrim. You should be ashamed.
