Did anyone else shoot Nikolai in the head

Did anyone else shoot Nikolai in the head and expect him to die but no he gets wounded in the sholder WTF.

Yeah I hate stuff like that too.

I also tried shooting Carlos in the head. Instead Jill just stood there not knowing what to do, and then Nikolai slit Carlos' throat and fired his ballistic knife into her forehead.

I think that is probably the true ending, all things considered.

Isn't obvious, they want to keep him alive... So they can use it later... Plus he is confirmed alive by CV.
