Can you dodge the sewer monsters on Nightmare difficulty?

I swear to god i couldnt dodge them once, not sure if i was doing it wrong or you simply cant do it on this difficulty.

Technically you can dodge everything. In reality sometimes it's best to just kill the enemy.

I remember i could dodge them on my first hardcore playthrough but not once now in nightmare..it was getting annoying so i just killed them with nade launcher..anyways, this mode is still easy, plenty of ammo and everything..i guess im looking for experience that will give me inferno difficulty but i wont play the game again for the third time in a row..

The biggest damage spike on Nightmare / Inferno is the last boss fight. Everything else isn't really much more difficult per se, but the new enemy placements can mess with you..
