"Failed to save game." Error

My game have this error all of a sudden. I can't save my game at all because of this error, not even autosave.

Can someone help me with this please?

I have the same problem after 10h of playing. I had the same problem at Resident evil 2 remake. There, it was a "Write permission problem" from Windows 10 (Firewall/Anti Virus). You can try the following:

Set exceptions in Windows Firewall and Antivirus:
Windows settings->Update and Security->Windows Security->
->Virus Protection->Setting->Excemptions->
->->Resident Evil 2.Exe
->(Folder)->Appdata/local/Steam
->(Folder)->Steamapps/common/Resident Evil

->Firewall and Networkprotection->Application permission->Resident Evil


Give Write permission to Save state file Folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\123456789\952060 -> Properties->Security->Settings

Verify the game’s cache in Steam:
Steam->Library->Game XYZ->Properties->Local Files->Vertify integrety of the Game files

It worked for me at Resident evil 2 remake. Currently I have the problem with RE3 but this time the autosave functions for the archievments.

Please respond if the (or one) Fix worked for RE3

I made a workaround. In my case it was a corrupted Save state file. After taking out the save states from the directory the non corrupted files work:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\123456789\952060\remote\win64_save

But this is not a satisfiying solution as when I play, I still get occasionaly a "Failed to save game".
