Why do people care Clock Tower?
What is your emotional story about Clock Tower? Explain it. The microphone is yours.

Because I've payed full price on pre-release and this game is just a demo of what could have been a decent remaster. At RE2 it wasn't like that.
The whole point was that it was an evacuation zone to set us up for a classic curve ball.

Come on it's not only that.

No but other people have stated why.
The beauty of that building was the only thing that could match the environment of RE1 mansion, the puzzles were good, the Nemesis parts were way more interesting instead of being a trash... so much potential left behind I'm so disapointed with what they did with this " re3 remastered" ofc it's not just the St. Michael's clock tower part... Just think about Nemesis look at what they've done to it... when you're at the bridge he suddenly shows up in flames like a dumbass, throws himself to the river then you hear Jill saying "B!tch can't swim"(curse words a part but that makes it look even dumber) and then he jumps out of water transmutated into a ugly circus freak; tell me that's not pathetic just try.

Lol? You beat the game, evacuation chopper arrives and you're like 'yay' and then Nemesis shoots it down and you're like 'ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu' and the first mandatory boss battle with him starts Clock tower also has the only 2 RE style puzzles in the game and is, essentially, a mini RE1 mansion.

ok so I've played the original RE3 not too long ago (= no nostalgia factor) , and In the original Clock Tower was the worst level of the game BY FAR (2 floors, 5 rooms most with no purpose, 2 lame puzzles, 1 hallway with 2 spiders...)

BUT

- during the Carlos chapter, it made the hospital level feel more connected to the rest instead of just being a completely separate chapter
- Nemesis could still chase you
- the helicopter crash scene was an actual twist (a funny one at that), as opposed to the predictable outcome in the intro of the remake
- the boss fight was actually pretty decent

I agree with you but... many battles? What battles? You mean the one nemesis fight outside that still exists in this remake? The only other fights i remember inside the clocktower are the spiders above the stairs, and some random enemies that spawn near safe rooms and the piano room going towards the church.

There are three major battles with Nemesis in the Clocktower;

Nemesis vs Jill on the roof, and depending on your actions, through the spider corridor and in the lobby
Nemesis vs Jill in the courtyard, that while it allegedly still happens in the remake... I can't count that battle as being a serious replacement... dog Nemesis is the stupidest thing I've ever seen, and I look in the mirror daily
Nemesis vs Carlos while he's trying to kill an ill Jill

EDIT: and a fourth, because Nemesis comes after Jill after the Carlos fight

*Only reminded of the more stuff they cut :/*

It's so sad... they had such a good resource to work with... even a HD upgrade of the original like RE1remaster would be better than this demo that I regretfuly prepurchased. They turned diamonds into garbage... capcom should be ashamed
Thanks to Capcom and the fake Resident Evil fans we will never see the like again.
