Variety of Grenade Launcher rounds and it's effectiveness against types of enemies?
As title suggest, so far I know that Flame rounds is effective against Gamma Hunter and explosives is good against stun locking Nemesis second form.
Anyone know what Beta Hunter is weak against? In RE2 Remake Acid is good against G-Birkin but now, it doesn't seems to be effective against Nemesis.

Fire grenades = Gammas in their open mouth, Nemesis burn damage
Acid grenades = Betas (seems less effective than fire vs gamma but loading screen says this)
Explosive = zombies, stunlocks Nemesis
Mines = personally used them right after picking them up as they are suited to that part.
Hand grenades = zombies and Betas

Not tested the fire damage but in RE2 the fire burn damage wrecked bosses so likely the same with Nemesis.

The Betas have armour so the acid melts it off. An acid round/shotgun combination would probably work well. I was seeing the armour blast away when I was feeding them buckshot. And acid rounds have always been a weakness for Hunters in RE games.

Thanks lads, never thought of acid rounds on Beta Hunters because of it's thick armor. I remember using acid rounds on nemesis (second form) and it did nothing LOL.

Acid rounds also one-shots those pale heads.

Not when I shot them with it...... 2-3 shotgun blasts all it takes for those.

Mine are effective on Nemisis trying to climb. Clocktower or Disposal facility. Specially Nemisis running around in Circles, just to break its mojo.

You can cycle the disposal fight really fast by using mines instead of waiting to shock him

They are really effective.... Especially against LIVING things!

Edit: as for the op, tbh the only things the acid rounds felt useful for were those naked zombies and hunters. I never used them on anything else, threw a few at nemesis 3rd form but did not seem to do much.

Here's another great article about the grenade rounds in Resident Evil 3. Give it a shot on Gamer's Decide!
