how do you remove weapon mods?

I got a sight for my assault rifle and now every time I use it, it puts me in an awkward super close view and I cant aim as well. How do I remove it?

You don't. They're fused to the weapon permanently. From what I can tell, anyway.

I don't get it either. If memory serves, you could remove weapon mods in REmake2.

You have a first person view for your assault rifle? As Carlos? I found a scope for his AR and all it did was put a really crappy oversized "console size" reticle on my screen instead.

My bad, it's not first person, it's just really close up.
Yeah I was sure I could remove them too.
Really sucks because the assault rifle is now a lot worse than it was and I'm wasting loads of ammo and getting hit a lot more.

You will eventually find another attachment for your rifle that makes accuracy a little easier to control, but I think it's a ways away from where you acquire the scope, unfortunately.

i think this might be a bug as it didnt happen to me the way you describe. looked fine for me (i have fov high tho).
but it did happen to me with jill during some bossfights where the camera would just stay really zoomed it and it did make me miss some shots

I have that same issue and its driving me ballistic.
