Don't support this company, anymore. They are not the capcom you grew up with. The -new- developers and execs taken over are pandering to the woke crowds and are overly-westernizing classic games their predecessors made.

Removing corny/campy or over the top dialogue and character designs that made the charm of the originals. "realism" is now ruining your favorite, classic japanese games.

Believability and relatability; they are pandering to social justice warriors, basically. The kind of insecure people who can't play or watch anything that features a character or actor/actress "too attractive" or more attractive than they are.

You saw it right there.

At least Kojima did not bend to the knee and kept Quiet's design in MGS5.

Serious. Until this company does right by their old fans, instead of pandering so much to new age gamers, boycott future games from them.

Remember - they redesigned her classic outfit. Never pre-order a game from them again.

Jill looks like she was beaten with an ugly stick, it's Claire remake all over again and need I remind everyone how they had to do last second changes to salvage that bad redesign so she didn't completely look like an android.

Capcom a lot of the gameplay in RE2remake was pretty solid but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over the original designs, cutting content from the original like enemies and areas is unforgivable. Seriously, they reduced the street section of RE2 to a quick on rails run through that lasted 1 minute, and the sewer boss was reduced to a completely horror devoid QTE.

RE2remake and RE3remake could've been literal works of art but you kept doubting the amazing art direction and designs and in some cases writing(RE2 original despite campy line delivery had a great script writer) of the original source material.

Of course I'm just some dude on the internet but as someone with a girlfriend that doesn't look like they were beaten with an ugly stick and as a fan of the original Resident Evil series, this redesign is a huge artistic downgrade just like Claire remake was. Sure there's more pixels but the art style is less inspired and downright ugly. They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up Claire and Jill's redesigns and removed entire areas and enemies from both remake games.

It's really sad that we didn't get something closer to RE1Remake even if they still had the over the shoulder view, just add crimsonheads, keep all the original areas and enemies and allow MR.X Tyrant and Nemesis Tyrant to follow you into safe rooms and have more chances for unscripted appearances, but most importantly keep true to the original art styles as they were vastly better.

Sounds like the OP (and those who agree with them) is soooo angry that not everyone agrees with their 100% subjective opinion.

People here arent really mad about that (a handful of twitter-hanging sjws who dont buy games and to whom Capcom tried to pander with this would be mad, but that's neither here nor there). By the way, I think she's still too cute for the game. I read your pined topic, so if the final Jill means "very strong character" for the devs, I'm totally satisfied.

I think more "sex appeal" for Jill would not allow us to take RE3 serious. Find some videos on YT about mods for RE2: Remake, it's not about serious playthrough by using both of your hands.

By the way, taste in looks is completely personal. I for one love the new Jill (new Claire is cool too), someone will hate her. It's not something everybody likes or hates. In the end, however, it's not that important.

This game has bigger problems right now imho.
