I wouldn't recommend using it for REsistance or whatever though. Multiplayer game, cheating bad...although I doubt Capcom cares either way.
Using it for Resistance, yes you probably will and should be banned.
They just ban you from submitting to RE.NET for that title, I believe.
i used cheats on RE2 for fun, and my RE.NET account is still doing fine.
Should have clarified. If you completed the game in like 3 minutes, or 0 kills, then any submissions after that wont display on your account. Again this is hear-say mind, I don't cheat. Just what I've soaked up over the endless void of the net.
Edit : Its to preserve their leader boards on the site.
I obviously didn't use cheats the beat the game under 3 mins :P I unlocked all weapons legit on RE2. But i used cheats for swapping characters, and modding etc.
Each to their own friend! I personally have no issues with cheats in a single player game, if someone wants to dress (or undress!) the character a certain way for the game they've spent £50+ on, why cant they? Or give themselves a major advantage, or disadvantage, why cant they? Modding should be more supported in my opinion (not anything like Bethesdas version of 'modding support', mind you). Anyway, I'll go off on a mad tangent if I start mentioning 'that' version of mod support anymore, I'll be quiet now lol.
Good luck, and enjoy!
