The game crashes on entering S.T.A.R.S. office as Carlos.

I just started the game today and now I can't go any further. Every single time I open the door to S.T.A.R.S. office and the cutscene starts, after a few secs the game just crashes.

Same here Exactly; the game was running perfectly until that point!

Same... has anyone found a solution? This is so weird, I can't find many people with this problem but the game completely crashes to deskop with no errors when I try to enter the stars office. Game breaking bug can't get any further.

Don't think it will get fixed. Capcom seems to have given up on this after throwing everything into Resistance just for it to flop in such a spectacular way.

Windows power shell(admin) SFC /scannow fixed that crash for me

I know a way how to avoid that but it doesnt always works. You have to do it fast skip the cutscenes and get how fast as you can out of the office, if you stay too long there it will crash

try turning down texture quality to high 2 or 3 gb or image scaling 140% or less. On the update there are areas that just hit hard or some people believe its a memory leak.

Keep in mind that image scaling is DSR so you put as much pressure that the definition your aimed.

With native 1440p definition + 140% is almost 4k. With RT high in two settings...it push towars the 11gb with textures in 8go.

With native 4K/100% image quality it push in the 11gbmark in game (at least reserved but if game consider it's not good enough/ swap to the RAM..and maybe some crash if pagefyle is not big enough
