Hardcore Mode with infinite save??? REALLY???
The limited system of save in RE2 REMAKE was a source of tension and a good way of play.
(And by the way just the normal way of play in the classic RE....).

Why is this system missing in RE3 in HARDCORE MODE?

What is wrong with Z generation and actual mentality?

I don't remember resident evil 2 remake having saves be so little in number that it was an issue to progress.

Might have ink ribbons in Nightmare mode.

In Difficult Mode only, if you want to save your game you are going to need to use Ink Ribbons.

This system adds really a good tension and a SURVIVAL atmosphere in this game.

The relief when we were in the safe room was a touch from heavens and not just a vulgar check-point like in this RE3 doom remake...

Infinite saves (no ribbons) but if you want an S rank there is a 5 save restriction I think on Nightmare? Something like that, so the restriction is still sort of there.

I never had the moment where I didn't have any ink ribbons so it's not such a big deal for me. Just my opinion.

Don't need ink ribbons to save when you feel like you've deserved it though.

There are 2 difficulties above Hardcore, and Hardcore is not even hard. I would suppose either Nightmare or the difficulty after it has ink ribbons. Doesnt seem like Nightmare has it though.

The feeling of potential leack is crucial IMO.

Really? Only Ultra Hardcore is more "difficult" and have no impact on save system.

Are you sure?

Your affirmation is two difficulties above Hardcore where is the proof of that?

IMO the game have just 4 level of difficulties and Hardcore is the level 3 (level max for a first game).

Check ResidentEvil . Net and enter the RE3 overview tab.
The difficulties listed are
Assisted, Standard, Hardcore, Nightmare, and ''?????'' (Yes, that is the difficulty stated.)
Also, I have Nightmare unlocked in my game.

even if its infinite saves. you can always make challenges for yourself that you are allowed to save only once per each save point or allow yourself only 0-20 saves per playthro. Simple as that if you have powerful enough mind to not cheat yourself.

It's a last resort but a pityfull solution. We can decided to do the game only with knife but it's a personnal challenge not a natural feature of the game.

It's very different.
