Does this not have built-in PS4 controller support?
My buttons aren't working. It's definitely not a broken controller; it can open Steam overlay and I can navigate the Steam controller interface with it.

Should I use something like XPadder to map my keyboard inputs to the controller? I know PS4 controllers must work somehow, otherwise a mod like this wouldn't exist:

No, PS4 works. Here's what I did:
Go to steam settings>controller>general controller settings. This will open Big Picture controller settings. Make sure "Playstation configuration support" is checked off, and that your controller is actually being detected.

Should work after that.

EDIT: You don't actually have to be running Big Picture the entire time to use it; I don't. You're only enabling the needed setting.

I think you answered your own question there.

Well I was hoping for an in-game option to enable the PS4 controller, or to get Steam to behave with the PS4 controller. I thought all games on Steam supported PS4 controller mapping. Apparently not.

XBox buttons only in all Capcom games.
There will be a PS4 button mod available shortly.

Ahh, that worked! Okay, I had a feeling I was missing something.

Btw, it was checked off for me. By checking it on, it worked. I knew it had done something, because once I enabled that checkbox, my controller lit up.
