Installation Video Codec?

hello guys, me i installed resi 3 campaign, while installing, the game says, i have to install a video codec or something. u guys had it too? for what is it?
maybe u can help me?

yes, I had it too when first time launching it, just tick the option, click ok, wait for couple of minutes until the game launch.

Having the same problem but the dialog box has an option to tick to accept and then an Exit button. There is no OK button? Sigh, the demo worked fine and so does RE2R

If a Steam game needs something that is not installed on your computer (DirectX, Video Codec etc.) steam "ask" you to install it. You should always click on Yes/Ok

Same for me. I just clicked ok and it all seems to work fine.

I bought the RE3 Remake Game too and the same problem appears, I did it all and the game did not open, says "something went wrong and the windons stop working"

well, I already beat the game, so it's working for me.

check the firewall or antivirus, maybe those things blocking the proccess.

fyi, I only have windows defender as antivirus and I installed this game not on OS partition.
