Then install on SSD - you may be suprised by Steam file decrypting process taking extra half hour after the game goes live.

Only applies to decent conections, where you are able to download te game on release and avoid the decrypt

Pre-load already went live on PS4 but I still don't see pre-load option on Steam.

It would be weird if we aren't able to play at 9pm PST tomorrow, RE7, RE2, and even DMC V went live at that time....

its now 4:42pm EST and still no preload available on steam? i normally wouldn't worry since we're still around 30ish hours away from release but isn't it usually more like 48 hours they allow us to preload? that and the fact that the release date on the store page still says "releasing 4\3\20" instead of every other game i've waited for the release date has it changed to "X hours until release" or "X days to release"

lol imagine not having 10 gig internet so you have to preload.

Preload is for people with bad/slow internet connections, so they can have the game ready when it launches. If you have fast internet, it is pointless since you'll be stuck unpacking the game for much longer than it took you to download.
