Physical copies for PC?
Does anybody have any information if there will be physical copies of RE3 remake, or just digital copies?

Some folks still like ownership. It feels better to have a physical product that you can keep than to have a Steam library that could be revoked.

that doesnt make any sense. only thing you would own is the box. the game itself is still tied to steam since its a steamworks title.

It is now, but that's not how it used to be. Unfortunately, Steam is just a form of DRM we've grown accustomed to. That being said, it's still nice to see a physical box on a shelf instead of a list on a computer monitor.

Its also cheaper, theres never a stock shortage, you dont have to interact with a person, its quicker to download entire game than to install from disc then update, etc.

Yea so what. We've come full circle on this issue, its like the record player.

Todays games require blu-ray discs to hold the amount of storage it takes, especially considering PC games are much larger files compared to PS or Xbox as it has different texture sizes / maps. Majority of PC gamers don't have a dedicated Bluray drive.

I also prefer physical copies but it only would make sense to buy it for console or if you buy games on gog if you care about ownership.I still call games i can download my own because i have access to the files....Cloud gaming is on another level it’s basically drm on steroids. If games are on sale for example i buy them on console digitally too and on pc gog is my favorite combined with steam
