I really hope they add that later D: That was my favorite way to play RE2

Was the only way I played RE2 also (And RE1 with mods..), but that was because the RE2 soundtrack was pretty iconic and the music in the RE2Remake was... mostly not even able to be heard half the time? I dunno I did one playthrough with it on and barely noticed it 90% of the time. Was too quiet or subtle or something.

As much as I do also enjoy Nemesis's Stalker/Battle music I think an update of the midi~ archaic 90's track is in order this time around :P

It'll be great if they make a new and great soundtrack, but they could also just give the option for us

I wouldn't care if the remake actually has a soundtrack. The problem with RE2 is they basically only remade like 10 seconds of some of the themes. And had them play only ONCE per playthrough. The rest of the time it's only silence. Which is a shame since the few actual songs they did put in it like Leon's escape theme was great. But yeah if they pull the same no music crap in RE3 then we at least need the classic OST.
