I was really excited for this so it was sad to learn it was cancelled.

The reason it was cancelled was that one of the original team members left (McMillen). Pity as Gish is still one of my favorite indie games and when they originally announced that there was going to be a second gish I was really happy. I would love to have seen a new version. That said, with a little ingenuity, some graphic skills and using the provided levels editor, someone could create new custon skins and then create 50 or so new levels to add to the original game. Sadly I'm no artist and using most art programs and editors leave me dazed and confused. :hee:

We just need someone dedicated enough to do the work.

I don't understand why Steam and Gamesgate are still selling this game for around £5.99/$9.99 when the developers made it open source after it was added to the Humble Indie bundle. If you go to their web site they are asking for a small contribution, which probably meansd a dollar at the most. Check it out HERE[www.chroniclogic.com]

Stores sell it because the developers list it there, the fact it went open source in one particular bundle does not affect its listing unless the developer specifically delists it. I just hope the devs fix the game as it seems after v1.7 on Steam the game got messed up and still no fix.

Gish is literally my favourite game of all time. And i've played over 1000 games, and own more than 400 games just on Steam.

There's actually alot of art and screenshots, just go look for it. I've uploaded WHAT I ASSUME is a edited version of the first gameplay video, here. The video was taken down because of SME.

And there around 4-6 screenshots out there,an IGF page and much more. There's also alot of enemy cast pictures, featuring many characters from Edmund's flash games.

There's more images in the Cryptic Sea blogspot, even a digital sketch.Around 2011,Edmund McMillen posted the artwork for the Coil creature (for those who didn't know, the creature from Coil was first designed for this game).

And if you go into my channel and into my videos you will find a second Gish 2 clip...that's a clip from Twitter.I don't have anything from the Gish Big Box,sadly.

Fun fact, the guy in the teaser video is Quietus,he was voiced by the same guy who programmed Cereus Peashy,Viviparious Dumpling,Carious Weltling 2 etc.
