Is there a mod to add an american accent?

Very self explanatory. I watched a play through where someone had an american voice, but they didn't show character creation. Did they just use the Hispanic voice? Or was it a mod? I don't want to be British for my YT play through of it :(

The voice is Charles Shaughnessy, British actor.

The British voice (Male Voice 1) in Saints Row 2 was voiced by Charles Shaughnessy

So actually since the developer called it a British accent and the actor performing it is in fact British, it's safe to assume you're wrong.

Female voice 1 is the white, american voice.

I know, not helpful if you're playing as a male, but personally, I've always played a female in the Saints series. It makes for a better, funnier experience, imo.

Perhaps that's not his culture. And he wasn't hating on the voice because "it's not a white american voice." You're just putting words into his mouth and just making stuff up.

There is nothing wrong about someone wanting to create a character that more closely resembles themselves in a video game. You'd think a trans person would understand that.

I might have heard this voice too. Way back when this game was online, I met another player who seemed to be using the voice you've described; one I've never been able to use myself. It sounded more like Male Voice 1 in Saints Row the Third, which isn't very similar to any of the voices in this game. I'm still not sure how they did it thought. Even if it had been a mod, it doesn't make any sense for it to affect my game as well.
