"What could... go wrong... in Bermuda?" Puzzle Agent 3 anyone?
Contains possible spoilers!

I first must say that Puzzle Agent and Puzzle Agent 2 are two of the best games I have ever played in terms of its storyline and gripping adventure. Agent Nelson Tethers is extremely easy to fall in love with due to his very abrupt but down-to-earth nature and willingness to solve the mystery of the missing persons and the origin of the Hidden People. People like me yearn for 3rd game, and I'm sure you do too. Upon finishing Puzzle Agent 2, TTG and Graham Annable concluded the game with a very open ending which could mean we could see a 3rd installment in the near future.

What could... go wrong... in Bermuda?

...Agent Tethers asks as he sits at his office desk feeling the well-deserved sense of achievement as he has discovered the origin of the Hidden People and why they exist in the first place. It seems very clear that a heck of a lot can go wrong in Bermuda as Bermuda, like its real life counterpart, is the northernmost point of the so-called Bermuda Triangle, a region of sea in which, according to legend, a number of aircraft and surface vessels have disappeared under supposedly unexplained or mysterious circumstances, according to Wikipedia. Take Scoggins and place it next to Bermuda. Scoggins has some serious competition in terms of mysteries and missing people. Puzzle Agent 3 could go nuts with the story!

Woah... who is that... in the background behind the Davners...?

I don't know if you guys noticed but take a look at the Davner Postcard[i.imgur.com] shown at the end of the game right before the credits. See anything unusal? No? Okay, take another look[i.imgur.com]. See the skull character lurking deep within the bushes? Well, it turns out that the skull character is Principle Skeleton, a character from Graham Annable's Grickle series. What's he doing there, then? Is he a cameo? Or does Principle Skeleton hold a deep and dark secret which would explain why he lives on the island of Bermuda in the first place? Who knows. Either way, Principle Skeleton is already a mysterious character from the Grickle short as he completely says nothing throughout the entire video. It's also healthy to note that he is a Skeleton which means he is classed as a supernatural being alongside the Hidden People and Big-Foot. Everyone else, however, is real. What's Skeleton's story then?

What's the deal with Glori?

Does she have any idea who she is married to? According to the note left under the door by the astronaut, Isaac Davner does not exist... Because his name is Ed Davis. Does Glori have any idea about this?

More could be uncovered in the 3rd installment, should Telltale and Graham go through with it.

Early conclusion

In the middle of writing this, I decided to conclude it early so people don't have to read much causing them to sleep. There are still many questions to be answered that could be answered in Puzzle Agent 3. Some include:

-What happens to the Hidden People?
-Does Glori know who Isaac Davner is?
-What will happen to the astronaut murderers?
-Sherrif Bahg... Will we see him again?

There's so much potential for a 3rd installment, even though it probably might not happen according to someone over at Telltale Forums. He said:

I doubt it. The Puzzle Agent story was allegedly originally supposed to be 5 or 6 episodes long but it was condensed down into 2 episodes. And it shows. I hope they do another, though. I like the vibe.
But we can't be sure, can we?

On a side-note, there's many theories to be discussed relating to the game and Grickle. Feel free to discuss them here.

So, would you like to see a 3rd game?

Tantalizing. I'm not familiar with Annable's universe, but I hope to catch up soon. I don't know if the PA series was profitable for TT, but I hope they see fit to continue the series. Thanks for the detailed post.

Wow, nice job spotting creepy Principal Skeleton in the postcard! I totally didn't notice at the time. My gut feeling is this is probably just an Easter Egg for Annable fans though, rather than a hint for future tie-in content. But the ending certainly leaves an opening for a third episide in Bermuda.

That said, the puzzles in this second episode weren't really that challenging, so I hope the quality/variety will be better if there is another episode coming.

To be honest, whether the puzzles were challenging or not didn't bother me in the slightest. I cared more for the story and character development. Puzzle Agent 3 could include not one single puzzle and I'd still be invested, mostly because of Agent Tethers. The poor bloke can't seem to catch a break. Still, he's a very loveable character.

Its funny that people still believe to this day that there will be a Puzzle Agent 3. (Its like the Half Life 3 people)
