Devs and Roles from Mods

Wondering what is the reason for not adding these fan favorite roles from the mods to the game? Roles like jester, sheriff or witch would add significant life to the game and increase the enjoyment.

I am aware that two roles were added a few months back but the roles from the mod have been around for years with none being added.
I know I can just make a modded lobby to play but the time wasted of getting people to join is not worth it. I would rather pay like 10$ for like a dlc pack of 10 additional roles from the mods.

Playing the same game with the same roles gets stale quick. Any developer want to give us some insight?
