Account Merge Question/Issue! (SOLVED!!)

Hello!

I have bought Among Us on steam (yet to install) in exchange for the Microsoft Store version, but I don’t wanna lose any of my stuff. (Master Chief outfit, beans, etc) I intend to merge the two together, but I want to be able to uninstall the Microsoft Store version afterwards. Will this delete the save data on the steam version after the merge? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

If anyone needs a streamlined version of the question, can I delete one version of the game and keep the data on the other after merging or will it delete the data on both?

If I recall from asking about the master Chief armor. It’s only exclusive to the Xbox version and the steam version doesn’t merge with the console versions.

The destiny outfits I heard you can’t get anymore since they were only for a limited time and the rachant and clank outfit is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and 5.

Oh, well in any case would merging the accounts and then deleting the version I bought through the Microsoft store keep everything else such as beans or things i bought?

I have the game on PC through Microsoft Store btw, I don't even own an XBox console (Frankly I'm confused why I have the Master Chief armor considering it's on PC)

To help with what I'm trying to do, here's what I've been planning to do

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Install Steam version → Merge with Microsoft Store version → Delete Microsoft Store version → Keep all merged data on Steam Version
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can I uninstall the Microsoft version and keep the save data and cosmetics in the Steam version, or will all of that be deleted on both versions?

Sent an Email to Innersloth and the response wasn't entirely clear. Does nobody seriously know if you can safely do this????

Just figured out you can link the accounts and unlink the previous version... I feel like an imbecile now lol
