For example, games such as "Keep talking and nobody explodes" relies explicitly on voice chat.
Also, sometimes voice chat can be fun - or even more appropriate than typing. Like Dors mentioned, quality in this case was not where it needed to be.
I can't think of a game were vc has enhanced it, even in shooters like r6 where ppl just trash the player with the lowest kd, and always make fun of the last man standing if he loses, unless of course they know you... with friends sure, but I'm talking about with toxic randomness
Ah, so it's less about the fact there is VC, but more about the fact that it is used by toxic people and abused by trolls. That's a fair point.
Being upset about the people is completely a justified issue but I don't think it's fair to judge the VC itself as the issue, because even without VC, the trolls will still use things like text chat, emojis, et cetera to get that stuff across.
You can't handle that?
