BLACK SCREEN - HELP ME PLS!

everytime i load up among us, the innersloth thing comes up, and so does the among us noise. but then its just a black screen and i cant play, someone please help!

Try this if it doesn't work i have no idea..

Step. 1 Click windows key + R to open run
Step. 2 Type %appdata% & press enter
Step. 3 Make sure you are in the appdata folder & not the roaming
Step. 4 Open the locallow folder & search for the folder called innersloth
Step. 5 Delete the innersloth folder & relaunch the game

for me when i delete the innersloth file, it keeps reappearing whenever i open and close the game. i've deleted it repeatedly and emptied my recycle bin as well

It's supposed to do that. You are in the cached data for the game, it's downloading and generating the files it needs to, you know, run at all.
When you are deleting it, you are clearing the cache, including any potentially corrupted files which cause black screens.
If the game is running normally, it would generally be advisable to just leave these files alone.
