If you have to ask...
I wouldn’t edit any games files that are multiplayer if you have a fear it will get you banned

I just wanted to create a custom character because i saw someone with a purple nickname and a glitched green character, so i though it would be related to modifying game files. but i noticed all my stats was there instead of their servers. I'm asking about the risk of being banned because those modifications are totally cosmetic and doesn't bother other people, but you can't do this naturally ingame.
Modifying multiplayer cosmetic game files does not affect the others and you are the only one that sees the changes. The rest of the people will see the actual level, because the true data isn't stored on your computer, but on their servers and their server data cannot be modified like this. In conclusion, this shouldn't get you banned in any way
dont ask steam players, just google it lmfao

There's nothing on google saying about Player.amogus file, so i asked on Steam. i'm used to editing single player games save files, but i never tried doing it with multiplayer games because these things are normally stored on server, not on client.

Obviously, you're making some modifications to the game, also I am sure among us devs implemented a working anti-cheat in game, so be careful.
XD you really thought it was THAT easy ???
It doesn't work. I tried to get a free pet and a level of 9,999, along with a nice Fortegreen color. The color is the only one that worked. Maybe try playerPrefs?
