This is what trending games are Something that gets a big spike of attention thanks to some source like Youtubers playing a game so then everyone gets it, and as soon as people start to lose intrest the game just instantly dies

We seen it happen before with games like fall guys and rocket leaguen Probibly even Slender blew up with so much popularity just like that

id say the game has a resonable playerbase and its easy enough to still play this game, altho its popularity is gone the game is not dead, just abandond like any other populer game

only a few left its mark like, Undertale, 5 nights at freddys and Team fortress 2, theres way more games out there like that with a smaller community But the game is still living and playable

Among us is not dead because of roles but just because people lost there intrest

not really, if anything it bought it more time in the spot light, and roles are something a game like this needs for variety between games, the death of the game came from them no following that update up more real updates and instead giving us just more cosmetics

In my opinion the game is still fun (Without the stupid 7 year olds spamming red sus in chat or the crackhead people who make servers about doing sex RPs). The only thing thats dead is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "wHeN tHe aMoGuS iS sUs!!1!1" memes.

when they added quickchat i stopped playing bc i hit continue without caring and got my age to 14 hours old and wasn't gonna give these ♥♥♥♥♥ my credit card
when they added this new cosmetic system it was cringe and a cashgrab
the new roles are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ideas
and somewhere along the way they made it unstandable to look at iwth the stupid character texture replacement.

you were stupid and didnt bother to read and then didnt select your actual age which is simply your own fault.
the cosmetics where something that was asked for and while they had popularity they needed something to make them more money since who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wouldnt, you can literally just not buy it.
new roles are things that the community asks for so idfk why ur mad about those.
