Same here, and when creating games in NA it kicks the host out after some time and nobody can join, says the game could not be found.

I tried to host a game without a VPN, couldn't anywhere (Europe, North America, Asia, nowhere). When I connected through VPN, Europe didn't work, but North America did. I just tried the lobby and if it will work. It might also be my connection that prevented me from starting a lobby previously, but VPN resolved it? I think it may be different time to time. Anyway, Europe servers appear to be down.

I don't actually seek servers to play on. I refuse to play with random strangers, I only want to play with friends in a private game online (I am fully aware that there is a local option that works over LAN, but we cannot play over LAN). And since one of my buddies warned me about cheaters, there's even one more reason to avoid playing with strangers.

Strange that there is no word from the Devs on this ( last checked 2h ago).
Tried about 30 times each yesterday and today, wont let me host.
(wich worked like a charm the past few weeks.)
