AGE VERIFICATION BROKEN

Were you drunk when you decided to allow users to put their age in without allowing them to change it?

I tried reinstalling the game, deleting all the data, even disabled Steam Cloud, the game still thinks I was born in 2013.

♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥. I even paid for this game, can't blame the people who just downloaded it for free. Can't even delete the data they collected on me (age).

rip your age, but i thought you could delete it/remove it, if they fixed it it means people are screwed if the age is wrong.

look on youtube search how to switch age on among us then do what they say its as simple as going in files and changing it

THIS THO!!!! Mine didn't even ask for my age when I applied the update, it just decided that I am a minor (I'm 30 thank you very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much) and would like to type instead of using some pre-written bullcrap one word sentence initiators. I tried following two tutorials to changing the age through the files but I can't for the life of me figure out where this magical dang file is supposed to exist. I get that quick chat helps younger players enjoy it but god dang, I am not a child (apart from at heart :''D )

You cannot undo it, I've tried. Once you set your birth date, or even if you don't get the opportunity, it's irreversible. I've uninstalled the game, I'm not wasting any more time with this nonsense.

For those trying to give "possible solutions" like "watch youtube videos": I've already tried every single thing.

1) Uninstalling and reinstalling
2) Deleting local AmongUs data
3) Disabling Steam Cloud + Uninstalling and Reinstalling

Nothing works. I even asked for my data to be permanently deleted on their website, but nothing.

This is hilarious. Privacy? GDPR? Not only you're not allowing me to delete my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ data, you're also collecting it without telling me anything about it.

That is true. They evidently did save what we entered in without telling us, and aren't letting us delete it.
